This publication is based on the exhibition Sketched in Stone displayed at Toitu Otago Settlers Museum in 2017-2018.

The art of lithography reached Dunedin in the 1860s. By 1880s colour lithographs began to be produced. This catalogue features full colour lithographs from the period and is a wonderful pictorial overview of lithography in Dunedin during the late 19th Century.
